In every breath I take I'm breathing you..

Here goes a pic of my little photoshoot with Alice and her boyfriend some weeks ago. I totally forgot about this photo, and I actually like it a lot. I played a bit with photoshop this afternoon and tried out this sepia tone, it makes the picture a bit more interesting, don't you think? What are these eyes saying, huh? ;)

Witch house

I love my grandparents house in Germany. It's a very old house in a small town surrounded by fields and a small forest. In summer I'm always there for a few days and I enjoy the calm atmosphere a lot. It remainds me always of a witch house in the middle of a forest, but this one is very cozy. I photographed for you some details which make this place very special.

The Asian Twins

Here are two pictures of the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, called "The Twins". They were the tallest buildings until 2004, but still are the tallest twin towers in the world. They are 452 meters tall and have 88 floors. I think it's an incredible building, I enjoyed it every time I was standing under them and looking up to the sky. They look so surreal at night with the black background, almost like painted. I miss being there.. going shopping in Suria KLCC (the shopping center under The Twins), walking through the small KLCC park or just enjoying the moment looking up to them and realizing where I actually am, almost alone.. so far away from home. 

I took the first picture when we were up on the Menara KL tower, it is a shame that it was a very hazy day.. and the second one I took it from under the twins, just one of the hundred days we passed there.

Sunset cruise

Yesterday evening we were invited to a catamaran tour through the bay of Roses. The weather was not the best, there was a lot of wind and waves, but it still was a great adventure. We saw the sunset, drunk good mojitos, listened to cool music and laughed a lot. It was an unforgettable night.

The quality of the pictures is not the best, but hope you like it! :)

Tomato - Shrimp - Gratin

Today a bit different post. I wanted to show you this pictures of the recipe I cooked today for the first time, and surprisingly it was really nice, so I thought it would be interesting if I show you how I cooked it.

It is a recipe I found in my cooking book, the Tomato - Schrimp - Gratin. It's very easy and fast to make, it's ready in 15 minutes!

You need:

- 20 shrimps

- 2 tomatoes

- 2 Avocado

- Bacon

- Parmesan cheese

- Olive oil

- Salt and peper

- Parsley

What you need to do:

Cut the tomatoes, bacon and shrimps into small pieces. Heat the oil in a pan and put the tomatoes, bacon and shrimps inside. Cook it for 2 or 3 minutes. Meanwhile, cut the avocado and the parsley in pieces and then add it to the other ingredients into the pan. Leave it there for 2 minutes more and then put everything into an oven dish. Add the parmesan on top and a little bit of salt and pepper and put it in the oven for 5 minutes.. and ready! :)

Everyday I'm shuffling..!

Berlin is such an inspiring city. I went there last June for five days to visit my family and, again, I had a great time! Even if you walk alone throught the streets of the city you'll never be bored because there is always something to see or discover. This picture I took it next to the Brandenburger Gate, where all the artists are showing their art. The dancers were just amazing. We could call Berlin as the second city that never sleeps.

Here we go again with some Bangkok pictures. I still took them with my old Olympus, and surprisingly they look pretty good. It was that evening when we went up to the Lebua hotel to the sky bar, the view was just breathtaking. And do you see all the traffic jam in the second picture?

Heute mal auf Deutsch ;)

Ich habe mir überlegt dass ich jetzt auch mal eine Blogvorstellung mache. Ich habe es schon in so vielen Blogs gesehen, und ihr denkt jetzt bestimmt auch „ach, schon wieder eine Blogvorstellung, wie langweilig!“, aber vielleicht hat ja doch noch jemand Lust mit zu machen :) Denn es macht mir Riesen Spaß andere Blogs zu entdecken! Above the sky

Some pictures of Sunday afternoon when I went to a friends house do do a BBQ and relax in the sun. She has a wonderful view over Empuriabrava from her little terrace. It was a perfect summer day, we should do things like that more often. I felt like a tourist when we went to the public swimming pool of the apartment community :P But it was great to enjoy my free time after some hard working days! Good night people xxx

Black&white portraits

Black and white shots are my favourites. I think portraits of people look very nice without colour because you don't know how it looks in real and you can imagine or speculate your own way, and let your imagination play. For example, the flowers in the background of the third shot.. what colour are they? Are they purple? Or blue? Every person has his/her own imagination, and this is ,in my opinion, why black and white pictures are so special. Also I like to take pictures of people, I rather prefer it than taking pictures of objects and landscapes. This three portraits you can see are some of my best friends who are always prepared to pose for me in front of the camera. Hope you like it! ;) xxx.

Smoke is in the air

I just love this picture. I took it some weeks ago when some of my friends came over to my house in the afternoon. It was an improvised meeting and we ate an horrible pizza we bought before, and then we did a little photoshooting. This is one of my favourite pictures from that day.
